The Story

Auto Total Business Show 2025, held at Romexpo in Bucharest on May 17–18, brought together more than 42,000 visitors for a weekend dedicated to the automotive industry, technology, and live spectacle. The 2025 edition combined exhibition and technical demonstrations with drifting, tuning, contests, and high-level Strongman performances.

1. Auto Total Business Show 2025

Auto Total Business Show 2025 took place at Romexpo in Bucharest on May 17–18, 2025 and combined the automotive exhibition with demonstrations, competitions, and live entertainment.

2. The scale of the edition

According to communications published after the event, more than 42,000 visitors attended. The Central Pavilion featured more than 130 stands with OE/OEM equipment and technical solutions, alongside demonstrations and public activations.

2.1. Exhibition and technology

The event included product launches, technical demonstrations, and interactive challenges such as the Wahlberg PITT-STOP Challenge, where participants changed wheels against the clock.

3. Drifting and tuning

The 2025 edition featured six drift sessions with established drivers and the new Street Kids generation. Coverage from that year mentioned Alice Ene, Gabi Imre Jr., Gabi Imre, Mihai Andrei Bogdan, Mihai Dinu, Bogdan Carapanceanu, Alexis Stan, Albert Ciotu, Alexei Manea, Adelina Ionescu, and Vanessa Manea.

3.1. The tuning competition

More than 70 modified cars entered the JuriLovCars competition. The Best Car in the Show trophy went to Alex Ghighilan for a petrol-powered BMW 325i.

4. Strongest Man at ATBS 2025

Strongest Man was one of the edition’s major sporting attractions. Promotional material published in May 2025 announced a group of leading athletes from the Romanian Strongman scene.

4.1. The announced athletes

The published lineup included Vladimir Comorovschi, Iulian Moțoc, Vlad Leahu, Glad-Alexandru Dumitrache, Vlad Voinea, and Robert Trifan. Vlad Leahu was presented as a national and Balkan champion.

4.2. The strength events

The promoted program included pulling an approximately 17-ton truck with body strength alone, deadlifting cars close to 350 kg, carrying a 300 kg load for 20 meters in a yoke-style event, flipping tires weighing more than 350 kg, and the front hold.

4.3. The connection with the automotive world

Strongman was a natural fit for ATBS: at an event built around horsepower and mechanical performance, human strength became another form of power on display.

5. Other notable names and moments

Event communications also highlighted rally drivers Simone Tempestini and Norbert Maior, together with demonstrations and activities connecting motorsport, tuning, and the automotive industry.

6. Music and atmosphere

The artistic program featured Mihai Mărgineanu, Tibi Scobiola Band, and Fără Zahăr, adding to the festival atmosphere. 2025 coverage also noted Saturday’s rain, which did not stop public interest in drifting and the other attractions.
